Partnero AI is where people write down honest, private things about their relationship and their feelings. This page explains exactly what happens to those words — including the one thing most apps leave out: what an AI provider does with them.
Who we are
Partnero AI is operated by Ivanna Kozak (Lysyshak), an individual based in Portugal. She is the data controller for everything described here.

What the app collects
Only what the app needs in order to work. There are no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs, no tracking, and no device fingerprinting of any kind.

Sensitive content, and why we ask for your explicit consent
Notes about your mood, your relationship and how you feel can amount to special category data under GDPR Article 9. We process it only on the basis of your explicit consent, which you give by creating an account and writing that content. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting the content or your account — see "Deleting your data" below.
How the AI works, and what Google receives
The coach, the courses, the weekly summary and the date ideas are generated by Google's Gemini API. To produce a response, the relevant text is sent to Google. That can include your check-in notes, your messages to the coach, the coach's memory of you, and your "about me" answers.
We use the paid tier of the Gemini API. Under Google's terms for paid use, this means:
- Google does not use your prompts or the responses to train or improve its models or products.
- Google acts as a data processor under its Data Processing Addendum, not as an owner of your content.
- Google keeps prompts and responses logged for a limited period, solely to detect abuse of its service, and that logged data may be stored or cached in any country where Google operates facilities.
We tell you this plainly because it is the honest answer to "where do my words go". If we ever move off the paid tier or change AI provider, we will update this page before doing so.
Encryption, and what your partner can and cannot see
Your written content — check-in notes, coach conversations, the coach's memory, your "about me", courses, wishes and date ideas — is encrypted on our server before it is stored (AES-256-GCM). The key lives only in our server environment. Anyone looking directly at the database sees ciphertext, not your words.
When you connect a partner:
- They can see your daily rating and the emotions you picked, and the day you logged them.
- They cannot see your check-in notes. Not "we choose not to show them" — the function that serves partner data does not read that column at all.
- They cannot see your conversations with the coach.
- They see your wishes, because that feature exists to be shared, and the app tells you so before you add one.
- A note from your coach reaches your partner's coach only after you read it and approve it.
Disconnecting from a partner stops all of this going forward.
Incognito chat
A conversation in Incognito mode is never written to our database. It exists in your phone's memory while the app is open, passes through our server only to get a reply, and is gone when you close the app. It is not used for the coach's memory or for any summary.
Who else processes your data

We do not sell your data, we do not share it for advertising, and we never will. No one outside this list receives it, except where we are legally required to disclose something.
International transfers
Your account and content are stored in the European Union. Some processors listed above operate outside the EU, and Google's abuse-detection logs in particular may be cached in other countries. Those transfers rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses and data processing terms.
How long we keep it
Your content stays for as long as your account exists, because the app is your journal — old entries are the point. Two exceptions: older coach messages are periodically condensed into the coach's memory summary and the originals are deleted, and Incognito conversations are never stored at all.
When you delete your account, everything goes immediately — see below.
Deleting your data
In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account & data. The screen lists exactly what will be removed. It is immediate and permanent: your check-ins, coach conversations and memory, courses, wishes, date ideas and your partner link are erased. Your partner keeps their own data, but the two of you are no longer connected.
You can also email [email protected] and ask us to do it.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to: give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or send it to another service. You can withdraw consent at any time — that does not undo processing that already happened.
One email to [email protected] is enough, and we do not charge for it. If you think we have handled your data badly, you may complain to your national data protection authority. As we are established in Portugal, you may also complain to the Portuguese authority, CNPD.
Age
Partnero AI is for people aged 18 and over. This is partly our own choice and partly a condition of the AI service we use. We ask you to confirm your age when you create an account. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will delete it.
The coach is not a therapist
The AI coach is a supportive tool, not therapy, not a medical or mental-health professional, and not a substitute for one. It does not give medical advice and is not intended to diagnose or treat anything. If you are in crisis, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.
California residents
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioural advertising. You have the right to know what we hold, to delete it, and to correct it — use the same email address above, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
The waitlist on this website
If you gave us your email and a messenger handle on this site, we use them — with your consent — to send you the "5 Games for Couples" PDF, to tell you when Partnero AI launches, and to attach your free month of Pro to your email. Every update email has a one-click unsubscribe. This data is stored in the same EU database and is deleted on request, or when you delete a Partnero AI account created with that email.
Changes to this policy
If we change how any of this works — a new processor, a different AI provider, a new kind of data — we update this page and change the date at the top. For anything that materially affects your privacy, we will also tell you in the app.
